On October 16, 2024, the two group standards of "Unidirectional stretched polyethylene co-extruded film for Packaging" and "Unidirectional stretched polyethylene composite film and bag for Packaging of a single material" (China Packaging Federation centralized, Chengde Technology as the main drafting unit) were successfully held in Beijing. Experts and representatives from industry associations, testing agencies, production enterprises, application units and other related fields attended the meeting. The Standards Working Group reports on the development process of the two corporate standards. The participating experts questioned and discussed the draft of the standard chapter by chapter and article by article. In the end, the review experts unanimously agreed that both criteria passed the review.

The two group standards aim to improve the recycling rate of plastic flexible packaging, play a significant positive role in the management of plastic waste, is conducive to the green low-carbon cycle of plastic flexible packaging, and help China's "double carbon" strategy implementation and the development of circular economy; We should deal with the EU plastic tax, eliminate technical trade barriers, regulate the development of the industry, and expand the right to speak in the international market in related fields. The standard working group will further supplement and improve the standard according to the opinions and suggestions of the review experts, form the standard materials for approval as soon as possible, and ensure that the standard development project is released as planned.
